Zzz. Again super long never post. My mood to blog like comes only once a .. month? Haha.
So the most important thing that happened to me during the last 3-4 weeks was moving into the boarding school!! Well so far i think it is OKAY, nothing must yet. But that is like normal, given I have only been there for 5 days.
Regarding sleeping times, generally I sleep around the same time there as when I am at home, but I can wake up around 30 mins later than at home. So that is like one plus point.
Regarding the food there, I think the breakfast there that mine at home, which is like air + water. But I think the dinner there is like worse than the one I have at home. At home, either my mum cooks something much nicer or I will buy something nicer from causeway point or the hawker near my place. Maybe after another week or so I will start to feel the breakfast will suck, which is like some boarders say, during the first week or so it will be ok, but after that it will start to get really boring. So maybe my next post will be different.. depending on when my post will be.
Another thing is the amount of work I get done in the boarding school. I think generally I get more work done there, because of the 90 minutes study period from 8pm to 9.30pm on Sunday - Thursday nights. I think that is quite "good" in a sense that, I really have to do my work, if not I really have nothing to do, not like at home, when I will just procrastinate till I barely get anything done at all.
Also very important is that my schoolmates are all there. On wednesday night, there was a mini-party in one of the teacher's room, and the party is really crazy. It is actually quite fun, just that I do not dare to get too crazy since I do not know all of them very well yet, maybe after a few weeks it will be better.
However, one REALLY bad thing about there is the internet. It is like really bad compared to mine at home. Many times when I am surfing the net suddenly my internet will drop, and that really sucks esp. when I am chatting with people.
Another minus point there is the toilet. Not that it is very dirty, it is clean, in fact. It's just that it is not as clean as my home toilet, and I think that SRC toilet is still cleaner. And I cannot take my own sweet time there like at home, so I have to like hurry up abit. Also the heater there like got problem, when i on the shower stream bigger, it is as though there is no heater at all, and when i on it smaller, it is like overheating. So I am like -.-".
Also regarding the laundry there, the washing machines are still ok, but the dryers are like really lousy, after 1 cycle (30 mins), about half of my clothes are still damp, and that really sucks, as 1 cycle costs like $0.50, and hanging them out in the sun like at home is like free, and after hanging 1-2 hours it is pretty much dry already.
But after all the small points, I think the MOST MOST MOST important thing about there is the absence of parents! That is like really the plus plus plus point. I don't know why, but when I am at home, I will rarely make my bed, clean my table, arrange my stuff and wardrobes, and dread the times when my parents force me to vacuum/mop the floor, and do the laundry and other housework, but at the boarding school, every morning, I will automatically make my bed, everyday I will clean the room, and do the laundry myself. I think it's like at home I know my parents will do it, but over in the boarding school I know no one will do it, so I may as well just do it myself earlier, than later. However I wonder how long I can last before I start to neglect all the stuff and become messy, I really hope never.
So that is all I can talk about the boarding school, maybe after another fortnight or so, when I decide to blog again. or maybe in a month. Haha.

Super long never post, probably coz I have no mood to. Working and going to school for CCA and project. Sometimes I think maybe my life is a little too rushed, but if I do not have such activities I will simply rot at home everyday, with no money, no entertainment, no life, no nothing.
So my work is good, at least up till now. Payday quite some time ago, but I haven't spend any yet. Contributed $60 to my CPF, so now I feel 0.01% more secured for my old age. Haha. I hope my manager teaches me to be crew leader, that will be so cool, crew leader at age of 16. Then I can be the in charge of a shift. And I will definitely ask for increment the next time I go, which is like don't know when.
Well school has started, and I have something to do every weekday now, but can't go to work. ): Timetable is fine, school ends at around 3 plus on tuesdays and thursdays, and then around 6 on mondays, wednesdays and fridays coz of CCA. At least still can go out when I decide to like skip training on one of the mondays or wednesdays. First few days quite crappy. I rather have lessons, at least can sleep in class/ sms in class/ dream or wadever. Just not move around having activities.
And moving into the boarding school on Feb 1. Excited yet apprehensive. I don't know what to expect. I fear that I get ostracized there. At least I get to room with Nigel. So even if everything bad happens, I know that Nigel won't like go against me. (: Or I will just die. Well the people whom I am going to be same floor with are ok, at least I hope, coz I never hear any bad things -yet. So I hope that all goes well, and I learn something, and have good experience there. Actually I also have a plan to go Subway, but I shall not elaborate JUST IN CASE some of my relatives read this and tell my parents.. then my plan will be SO foiled, and I don't want that to happen. Haha.
Nothing much .. only that it's confirmed I am taking ABRSM Grade 8 exam guitar... and it costs like $362 or something.. so expensive... and I have to pay it myself first, and my mum will return me when she gets her profit sharing... or when my dad gets his cash payout from Comfort... At least I am getting another around $200 this month end for the days I worked at subway on 27, 28, 30 and 31 December 2008. Maybe more coz my manager asking if I can work on 23 and 24, and my parents probably will allow coz it is a long weekend due to chinese new year. Hopefully can get $250... Sometimes money just isn't enough...

zzz I am so sick now. Don't know why I fall sick so often... Last time was during term 4 week 2, so close to exams. At least now it's during the holidays.
Have been feeling a little sick since this Sunday when I was going to end work. At night around 9 plus when we are going to close shop, I suddenly had a very very bad stomach ache. And I still had to sweep and mop the whole store. Then throughout the trip back I didn't have a seat.. can die.. At least my mum bought a pair of shoes for me from malaysia.. finally a new pair..
Then on monday late morning I had brunch with my 4th uncle and aunt at some japanese restaurant. Really eat until can explode, and I didn't dare to look at the bill at all. Then after bruch I went to my boss's new Subway branch for a party... so more eating... but this time round I didn't eat so much, only ate some fruits. Brought back some leftover food though.
Tuesday I woke up like really late, around 10.45am. It isn't my latest but I feel that it's really late already. Went bowling with Nigel at Tampines SAFRA. My scores were to terrible, like 88, 92 and 83 or something, can't really remember. Nigel's average was like 140 or something, so good. But he is taking lessons while I'm not, so it is expected yea! We finished bowling around 1 plus, and then after that we went to orchard. Nigel had to meet his friends at Sakae Sushi Wheelock's Place at 3pm so we could only walk around for a while. I bought a belt (FINALLY) at Adidas. Finally I don't have to worry about my pants being so loose and going to drop off.
So I reached home around 4pm, then my colleague called me and asked me to work, coz someone took MC! Of course I won't turn down the chance to earn some money during the hols, so I rushed to the new branch. The new branch is quite busy, can compare with the branch I always work at. In the end the sales for the day at the new branch is like $3400+, which is only slightly lesser the $3500+ at the branch I always work at. Actually $3500+ for the branch I usually work at is VERY low already, usually it can get around $4500, but its the recession, so wad to do? So by closing time I felt quite sick, had a bad cough and slight runny nose.
Yesterday did 1pm to closing, but at the usual branch now. Really long. But at least can earn more yea. Actually I already feel sick when i woke up in the morning, but I didn't want to call in for MC coz we really don't have enough people. We are somehow always short of staff, and now there is a new branch so staff is really tight now. In the afternoon it is still ok, it is around evening then I really feel really bad. Bad cough and fever. I cannot remember customers' orders, too weak to carry some stuff, sweep the dining area very slow. But just before we close shop I took 2 panadol tablets and then went to continue cleaning my dining area. It is like I keep sweating like mad, then went to throw rubbish and when I come back I suddenly feel fine. Only left the cough. No longer feeling uncomfortable, except for the cough of course. THen at night I sleep early, around 11.50pm, coz I had to work 8am - 4pm today, and also coz I need to rest so I feel better.
Today had to wake up around 6.40am so that I can avoid the ERP. Haha. In the morning didn't have any fever, only VERY bad cough and runny nose. It is SO bad that my voice is affected. Lucky there was enough staff during the lunch rush, so I didn't have to serve customers, just do the other stuff, like clearing trays, washing stuff, topping up of veggies/meat and making more bread. Just imagine if you are being served by someone who turns runs to the kitchen every minute to sneeze and cough. The queue is going to be super long. So finally at 4pm I can go home and when I got home I have slight fever again.. slept for an hour and took 2 tablets panadol.
So until now I am still ok.. thats good, just the RUNNY NOSE and COUGH! ARGH. So damn freaking sickening. My dad told me to drink more water, and I just drink 3 full cups in the past hour. Tonight dunno how many times must wake up to go toilet.
Lucky tmr I am not working, or I will so totally die. But theres CCA, but that isn't so bad, only 3 hours and there is break and I can tell my coach I am sick so he won't tell me to do too strenuous stuff. Still have to go lab. Zzz. So sian. I want to go home to sleep. Don't know if I will be going Woodlands CC to play table tennis though. See first.
Gotta continue with my greenwave poster. I very lazy to do!! And all my homework!! ):

Yayayayayayay! I just got some good news regarding my project, which got Merit Award in the Sembawang Shipyard Greenwave Competition, and we won $1000. 60% must be given to the school, and since there are 2 of us in the project group, Theron and I split the money $200 each. YAYAYAYAY! Haha.
Some more good news is that PAYDAY is only 2 days away!! But I will probably only see my pay in my bank like in 3 or 4 days! I REALLY hope that I have at least $500 including my bonus. Sad thing is that I think my December pay may be lesser as there is recession, so my boss wants to cut down on labour costs. For full timers they have to work 8 hours a day 6 days a week, but for part timers they will reduce, so I may have to go lesser. ): I hope that I will be top on the list for part timers! (: So they will put me to work first then put the others. Haha. I so bad. Lolol.
Also, I *MAY* be going to Sitex (some IT show) this Sunday to buy new camera coz my sister's camera is like 5++ years old already. Really must change ler. I hope that I can spend less than $350, my dad will totally kill me if i buy something that is like $400++, as I am supposed to be trying to spend less now coz of the recession. Somehow my dad isn't affected by the crisis yet, in fact his costs are going down due to the drop in oil prices from like US$147 to now US$50. But he will definitely be affect probably next year start when we start to really feel the effects of the crisis. For my mum she is really affected as her company is increasing the number of shutdown days, that is, she doesn't have to go work. So those days when there is usually work, and there is shutdown, she has to either take no pay leave or clear her leave. Lucky she got about 8 leave days, so I hope it can last until end of this year so next year she will have new leave. If not she must take no pay leave, and that is really bad. ):
I hope that US faster solves this crisis. And I hope that China somehow screws up. Lol.

Argh so tired! This week I went to work like so many times. Starting on Sunday 16/11, I worked from 3 to closing, monday 5 - C, tuesday 10 - 6, wed 5 - C, thurs 7.30am -3.30pm, today opening - 3pm and tmr O - 3pm again! So many days! Means I am going to get alot of pay!!! I think I can get around S$400+ as my pay for this month and probably slightly lesser than $100 as my bonus, so a total of around $500!! (: Then I can go shopping!
Few days ago my manager told me that the maximum pay rate for part timers has been raised from $5.50/ hr to $6.00/hr. I hope that I can get increment to $5.00/hr soon, but given there is some financial crisis now.. it is really hard to say. Anyway our sales do not seem to be significantly affected, we still have around $4000 a day, except for Sunday, which is around $3,500. This is only slightly lower than during school days, where it is possible to go up to $4500, but this is normal as there are fewer students, and students are a big percentage of our customers. Anyway I have been working for around a year now, they really should give me an increment right? Lolol.
So this week Dion came back from Shanghai for THIMUN. It is really sad that we can't really go out as his activity is like whole day. Well at least we managed to go to chomp chomp food center to eat on tuesday and went to twex's house on thursday. I hope that we can go out more next year June when he comes over.
